Nahum 2(all) 1)An attacker advances against you, Nineveh. Guard the fortress, watch the road, brace yourselves, marshal all your strength! 2)The LORD will restore the splendor of Jacob lie the splendor of Israel, though destroyers have laid them waste and have ruined their vines. 3)The shields of his soldiers are red; the warriors are clad in scarlet. The metal on the chariots flashes on the day they are made ready; the spears of pine are brandished. 4)The chariots storm through the streets, rushing back and forth through the squares. They look like flaming torches; they dart about like lightning. 5)He summons his picked troops, yet they stumble on their way. They dash to the city wall; the protective shield is put in place. 6)The river gates are thrown open and the palace collapses. 7)It is decreed that the city be exiled and carried away. Its slave girls moan like doves and beat upon their breasts. 8)Nineveh is like a pool, and its water is draining away. "Stop! Stop!" they cry, but no one turns back. 9)Plunder the silver! Plunder the gold! The supply is endless, the wealth from all its treasures! 10)She is pillaged, plundered, stripped! Hearts melt, knees give way, bodies tremble, every face grows pale. 11)Where now is the lions' den, the place where they fed their young, where the lion and lioness went, and the cubs, with nothing to fear? 12)The lion killed enough for his cubs and strangled the prey for his mate, filling his lairs with the kill and his dens with the prey. 13)"I am against you," declares the LORD Almighty. "I will burn up your chariots in smoke, and the sword will devour your young lions. I will leave you no prey on the earth. The voices of your messengers will no longer be heard."
~Feel it's a biography of my life at this time...I'm strong in/with the Lord anything can fly my way,...which it is doing!! But whatever it is, It has left me hurt to an extent. Wondering if I have made right decisions these past few months. Trusting that the Lord WILL come through with a WIN through all of this!! It's for a reason!!
~01-29-09 Started new book upon God's request tonight with our NEW group and as I shared my trust with all last night in the Lord HE HAS COME THROUGH WITH A WIN!! Making all of this Hattie's well worth it!! Praise God for being able to use me for His will and able to aid in one of my new home group ladies accepting Him tonight!! How Big is Your God?!! Mine is unmeasurable!! Love ya Lord!!
Zephaniah 1:66)those who turn back from following the LORD and neither seek the LORD nor inquire of him.
~you will be cut off!! If you no longer want to seek Him and ignore Him He'll only let you get so far with it then that's it!! CUT OFF!! From hearing Him and the rescue in a time of need!! He wants us to be with Him ALL the time!! Not just when we can fit Him in/make time for Him!! ALL THE TIME!! Just like marriage through thick and thin!! That's what are life is like once we've accepted Him into it!! MARRIAGE!! So how are you treating Him? Are you seeking His face on an consistent basis or are you tapping in only when you need something or are having a good day?!! THROUGH THICK AND THIN!!
Nahum 1:1212)This is what the LORD says: "Although they have allies and are numerous, they will be cut off and pass away. Although I have afflicted you, O Judah , I will afflict you no more.
~(After reading side note in Bible:When Israel betrayed the commitment between herself and God, God allowed Assyria to afflict Judah until she repented of her unfaithfulness and cried out for deliverance. When His people cry out in repentance, God, like a loving husband, keeps forgiving, keeps loving and keeps working to restore broken relationships. God's loving discipline is at work today in those who are committed to Him) Do I want to treat my husband bad? Then why keep repenting to God if know He forgives me like a husband. Wouldn't do this to my (future) husband, So why do it to God who is my Husband?
~(Another view after looking up word afflict) Does this mean the affliction for me will end? I know not, because as a Christian we are always being attacked. But has any of this affliction been caused by you? If so is it to strengthen me Lord?! What are You gearing me up for to do?! What is Your will for all of this if this affliction comes from You? Lord please speak to me on this matter...could it be my pride/character flaws?...And if it's not coming from You in the name of God STOP IT PLEASE!!
Nahum 1:9-10 9)Whatever they plot against the LORD he will bring to an end; trouble will not come a second time. 10) They will be entangled among thorns and drunk from their wine; they will be consumed like dry stubble.
~Won't come at you a second time!! They will dig a grave only to fall in it themselves!! (to quote: Psalm 7:15 15)They dig a deep pit to trap others,then fall into it themselves.)

~I trust you Lord!! Please, help me to grow ever stronger in my trust in You Lord. Trust and me reliance on like I should a husband but even MORE!! I love you Lord and thank you for safe travels home tonight and words from Your book shared with me once again!!
